The Neosho School District is seeking applications for a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant. Neosho is a progressive school district conveniently located just south of Joplin.  Our district puts a strong emphasis on building relationships with students, parents and other professionals.  Candidates must hold a valid Missouri Board of Healing Arts issued Speech-Language Pathology Assistant Registration and hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Speech Pathology and/or equivalent. The SLP-A will be expected to possess good people skills, flexibility, the ability to work under pressure, to stay on task, be responsible, be reliable and have the ability to adjust to change. The SLP-A would be working under the supervision of certified Speech-Language Pathologist.  Duties would include:

• Provide early intervening services
• Implement ongoing treatment and intervention plans
• Document student progress
• Provide appropriate speech and language therapy to students
