The Neosho School District is searching for a certified School Counselor for the 2024/2025 school year.

Interested applicants should be fully certified in the state of Missouri.

 

The school guidance program assists students in becoming responsible adults. Continuous attention is given to assisting students to develop competence in decision making, working with others, and taking responsibility for their own behavior in accordance with district policies and procedures. The Elementary Counselor will possess good people skills, flexibility, the ability to work under pressure and stay on task, responsible, reliable, a self-starter, and have the ability to adjust to change.

The individual who holds this position will regularly work in a school environment that is noisy and active.  Occasionally the individual will be required to work outdoors for short periods of time to perform such tasks as loading and unloading students from district transportation and supervising recess.
